The Schoolhouse Art Gallery and Nature Center is located at 427 Main Street in the heart of the Gov. Robert W. Furnas Arboretum. The original one-room Fairview Schoolhouse dating from 1898, it’s the site of summer art shows and receptions from June through October.  These monthly shows feature visual artists from the region accompanied by lectures, workshops and artist receptions.

There is also a monthly speaker series from June to October featuring a variety of subjects, including books, living history, nature and other topics of interest.

Everything is free and open to the public.
